The story behind Karriages
In November 2021, Arya Morman had returned to work as a traveling management consultant while caring for her young son. One difficult trip made the gaps in support for working and traveling mothers impossible to ignore. She faced a choice no parent should have to make: protect her livelihood or protect her family’s well-being.
Arya began imagining a more connected model of maternal care—one shaped by access, dignity, trusted guidance, and community. Her own motherhood journey showed what families can do when care, information, and encouragement move with them.
Today, Karriages is growing beyond a single mobility solution into a holistic maternal and infant health platform: bringing families, providers, health systems, employers, and community partners together so no parent has to navigate pregnancy, postpartum, feeding, or early parenting alone.
